A shame, as I really liked Energy.

If you don't have quick charge enabled you can very easily have a higher discharge rate than your charge rate. (See post #5) The standard usb charge rate is only 400mA + and with BT on you could be above a discharge of 480mA+.... with the nuebattery drivers you can enable this and have a charge rate of 900mA+

Also keep in mind that ENRGZ states that he puts these roms out with the settings like HE likes ... backlight 100% etc. He doesn't set anything at all for good battery life

See ENGRZ Quote "I dont care about the battery life either.. that's why I have a charger wherever I am and even in the car!"
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...ostcount=12588

You definately need to do some fine tuning if you are looking for better battery life.... yes requires a little work, but IMHO it's worth it... instead of switching to another rom because you think that you can't get good battery life with enrgz.

You meant post #8 I think... there were some reg directory errors in those and I don't know if they were updated or not.

Here is what I did in post #5

This is what messed up my phone. I'm Sprint OOTB rom, some cabs installed. I did the BT one and now my BT STack won't load after the soft reset and my phone is sucking 204mAw while not plugged in.

How can I get my BT back?

Seriously. Crap. This'll be the first time I've had to do that. Bollocks.

I guess after getting set up again I'll look into Profiles. Face palm, etc

Re: Battery Issues - Energy ROM - THREADED

Hey guys,

just wanted to report back today... been getting great battery life with what i had posted... apparently there were some errors in some of the files from some of your reports?

Something with the BT? not sure... phones been unplugged for 12 hours today used wifi router for about an hour and a half and about 30 min of talk time and i'm sitting at 51% right now... seems to be working okay for me... just let me know what cab was causing troubles and i'll edit it in the post

best battery day by far today in a long time... maybe there is hope!

just so you know i never use bluetooth for anything so i'm not big on testing that but can per request

Re: Battery Issues - Energy ROM - THREADED

Hmm, not sure if this helps, but I use Lumos, I put it on min backlight of 2 and max on 7 (Barely any diff between 7 and 10), I put the mode on linear because I'm always in a room with no light or max light lol so it helps

Right now I'm at 74%, 50 texts, weather once, email once, maybe 15 picture mails, updated twitter and used Opera mini 5 and 9.7 for about 15 mins. Standby has been 14 hours

Current Discharge: 71 mA
