Re: HELP! TP2 touchflo3d is gone
hmmm...you're worried about your phone's TF3D not working but turn around and ask if you can now flash to a new rom. im not really sure the question makes sense at all. you will need to give more details than what you have already posted. you might get better help/responses if you tried to list what you did or were doing step by step prior to you having the issue(s) you currently have. and bradart is correct regarding the "contacting the service provider" message. if your phone phone can't contact to the provider, you will not have the necessary service to make your phone work. but have you checked Settings> Today> Items screen to see if you have TF3D checked? you may have somehow disabled TF3D.
remember...the help you get is only as good as the information you tell people.

Re: HELP! TP2 touchflo3d is gone
Hey all, not to hijack on the OP's thread, but I have that same problem as well... well it's my friend TP2. He's been running stock rom since he got the phone so his device is still locked.
He's running Windows 6.5 stock with a couple of cabs, I believe one for triggering roaming, and the other is just to get the task manager to show up on the corner. He told me that he fiddled with the registry (somewhere for the touchflo to free up more memory or something to it) and when he did a soft reset, it goes to the today screen and 'tap here to launch HTC sense'. When he tapped it, nothing would load. Also, the battery meter keeps reading it as 0, even when it was plugged into a charging cable. Pressing calendar or contacts gives me an error saying that there is an unsigned certificate, and I cannot do a hard reset (pressed the power + the two end buttons and it gives me an error 'shortcut target - error opening the shortcut or locating the target filename') I'm aiming to just reflash his phone to solve the problem, but the pc doesn't recognize it as connected in activesync. I've never tried to flash it via the SD card, but I'm not sure how to as I've never done it before, and his phone is locked. Please advise, and thanks in advance for any tips and help! Attached are some pics of what I'm describing. |

Re: HELP! TP2 touchflo3d is gone
Alright! I'm so glad I solved my own problem. I was so freaked out because the guy needs his phone for work later on tonight, so I was kind of on a deadline. Thank goodness for the option of Hard Resetting. I finally got it to work (hello! Gotta take out the battery first and make sure you don't press the power button first -___-) and it worked like a charm. Now it's back to normal.

Quote:
do this: push power+send+end and poke the reset hole under the back cover (next to the volume down button) with your stylus when it prompts, approve the reset
