I have a cab that changes the mode from CDMA to GSM. Ninja, can you see what reg change it makes?

This cab seems to toggle in either direction (a nice to have for the world traveler).

Unfortunately, it confirmed for me that a simple registry change will not work. So much for adding this to my UC process.

If someone can demonstrate otherwise, I would be very grateful.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\PhoneExtendFunction looks interesting. So does HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\PhoneNetSelMode

I think most people do this already , but a good idea for those that do not. unless your sim unlocked and use gsm.

actually it should be similar, and to maximize this concept; combined with setting to 1x only. that is if you don't do much evdo data, but email works just fine over 1x.
