getting new TP2 tommorow help?

Im getting a new company phone tommorow to replace my TP. What is the first thing io should do with it?

read information about it online
not sure if you prefer custom roms, but if you do, i'd still play with stock a few days before you unlock it and run a custom rom.

You should definitely flash a custom rom.....stock's are so buggy & outdated @ this point, well @ least the sprint version is. But in any case get to flashing & you wont look back.

OP should definitely flash a custom rom because they offer extra features but stock rom isn't buggy, not in the least.

hmmm...thats funny, stock rom is the most stable compared to custom roms. thats not to say it has it doesnt have its fair share of limitations compared to custom roms.

but off to the topic at hand. like others said...read up about your phone. get to know it as best you can and when you're comfortable enough...look into flashing into custom rom.

Congrats on getting the TP2 soon! I would suggest checking out GoodThings2Life great TP2 Cleanup Thread - HERE. This was the first place I went when I got my TP2 and it began my knowledge quest and allowed me to gently jump start my understanding of of the tweaking options for the TP2.

if u dont find everything u want check out posts with the same operating system...touch pro, treo pro...all very similar. im using some of the same cabs we used three winmo phones ago.

best stock rom I used was the 6.1 tp2 rom...it really was fantastic!
