I think I bricked my HTC Touch Pro 2 HELP?

Alright so I was trying to update the rom on my phone to no avail, always the damn program (custom ruu.exe) came up on the last screen displaying error 262 (update error) which is VERY common.

So I find in multiple forums of people recommending a certain update of the diamond phone series, I dont know why the f^*( I tried it, halfway in the update the phone went dark, and now wont turn on AT ALL.

I try the soft reset, battery out for a while, reinstall active sync, try in different pc's (win7 64bit, xp 32bit) no hope so far.... Well the ONLY sign of life is when I plug the phone via usb cable to either PC there is a hardware detected under "Qualcomm CDMA technologies MSM"

I believe its some sort of diagnostic mode to access the phone, but I cannot find drivers ANYWHERE! Please folks help me out is this thing done? is there hope?

that's not a brick
rename the ruu_signed.nbh file to RHODIMG.nbh
move to microsd card
flash away

Can you get it in bootloader?

i cannot get into the bootloader, tried copying those files to the microsd but it wont turn on, what you guys say?

also is there any hope with the QUALCOMM usb thing? thanks!

hold volume down/power and styli in softreset hole, all at same time, what happens?

tried that and nothing happens.

when i plug in the usb cord to pc it will detect as via usb cable to either PC there is a hardware detected under "Qualcomm CDMA technologies MSM" thats ALL that would happen... well that and ocassionaly it will get out of that usb mobe and just light up the charging light on the phone....

i tried to update the drive on the Qualcomm device to wince usb (HTC USB SYNC) and it will install, however since IM NOT ABLE to go in the bootloader what else can i try?

Its a brick, you flashed a SPL for a different device.

The diagnostic port its detecting is the PBL and you cant do anything with it.

Can the phone be unbricked? And what does bicked mean?

When a phone is bricked it's almost impossible to fix it, from what I've read.
