Re: OK, I know some of you are going to kill me, but...
User name (ie, login) and p-word are the same.
For computer you need to enter the name of your computer, found under control panel, system and security, system....scroll down to "computer name".

Re: OK, I know some of you are going to kill me, but...
It's simple dude.
1. Setup port-forwarding on your router. 2. Start the Remote desktop app and put in WAN IP of your Internet connection 3. Login with your windows login/password 4. ... 5. profit. |

Re: OK, I know some of you are going to kill me, but...
Instead of trying to use your computer name, use the local IP address of the computer you are trying to connect to. (Do Start->Run->cmd->ipconfig, the numbers beside "IP Address" on the computer you're trying to connect to).
Are you using Windows XP, Vista or 7? |

Re: OK, I know some of you are going to kill me, but...
i think i have narrowed this problem down.
i used a program called pfportchecker to see if my 3389 port was open and it said it was NOT REACHABLE. i knew this was the problem either i set it up wrong, or my computer has something blocking it, or i am **** ed edit: port 3389 is now open, but still cant connect i changed my name on my computer-deleted the "-PC" part of it Last edited by orbxx7; 02-22-2010 at 08:39 PM. |
