No it isn't canceled altogether. You may want to call back. But with the custom roms you shouldn't need the 15$ plan for PAM. I cant test my connection out right now, can anyone else confirm whether their wifi works.

I've been using Energy-Rom which has internet sharing this whole time. i used it this morning to play wow. (Yes and no it doesn't consume my life) so everything is fine with mine. i nvr wanted to pay for that function anyway lol. All sprint did was skip a step and have everyone using a flashed rom or the cab that allows internet sharing without paying for it

I talked to sprint Rep today and was told that sprint disabled phone as modem completely on February 14th.

we no longer have to option to add pam to peoples account, its been done away with. but you can still teather as others have posted, the block just effects legit accounts where people are paying for PAM.

I called Sprint and they claimed to have cancelled phone as modem service since 2-14. I even offered to upgrade to a more expensive plan and she said ir would still be impossible.

Is this true? Is there not a workaround? Because I wouild die sometimes without the ability to just yank out the netbook/laptop and con

It has not been canceled and you should check your registry because the WMRouter is messing up the registry. Use the HTC wifi router and you get the same for free and your registry stays clean

bump for this.
i quit using wmrouter for that problem. had to hard reset twice. opera would work and so would pie, but skyfire and tethering would not.
