Duplicate texts
Lately I've been receiving texts from people I know saying I keep sending duplicates. Only thing I can think of is its happening when I reset my phone or whenever my inbox is too full, (didnt think there was a limit but maybe there is).
Also just to add. instead of using the 2016 time stamp fix, (which wasnt working for me correctly I used a workaround I found in this forum http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=107363 I dont really care about the year but it does show the correct time on my messages). Maybe its the problem. Any help would be appreciated. I had this problem on my Treo Pro as well. Just when I thought this issue was the past... |

I haven't actually been having the problem you're describing but a good friend of mine was having the same exact issue. He was using the Sprint stock rom and it happened on a number of occasions..... It'd be interesting to hear if anyone has any insight on why this is happening. |

Re: Duplicate texts
Its pretty annoying and even worst if everyone receiving your texts doesnt bother telling you. I'm using the stock rom as well. I'm going to keep my eye out for my draft folder though. I live in a bad reception area and theres been several times if I'm sending a text out and ones coming in I get that error showing could not be sent. I usually resend it but not from the draft folder. I appreciate the feedback!

Re: Duplicate texts
wel thats the problem.. it gives u a red link "PLEASE RESEND THIS TEXT" and u press the link to send it.. rite? well theres also a copy of the same text in the DRAFT folder which is resent at a later time!
so u can use either of the two option, either click the red link and delete the text frm the DRAFE folder or u can just goto ur DRAFT folder and resend that... both works... but use one method so they only get a text one time! |

Re: Duplicate texts
it happens wen theres a network error or wen ur sending at the same time ur receiving as well, the phone keeps the sent message in the dRAFT folder to b on the safe side. even though its a smartphone, not as smart as human! lol...
