Remapping Keys with Rhodium/Touch Pro 2 (CDMA/GSM)

I've been trying to remap my text messaging to my back button or windows start button on my Sprint Touch Pro 2 using the Rhodium Cab. I know it may sound easy but its not...For me anyways. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong when using this program.

I figured if someone can point me the right direction with doing so with the messaging maybe I can figure out how to remap my other buttons too...Or if anyone know of a easier Cab please let me know. Thanks in advance!!!

Click add button, hit the button, assign single click to default action if you want to retain functionality of that key, and then double press, triple press, and long press can be set to whatever you like via the little drop down to select the action and the plus sign to select what to run.

Always use version 1.3.2 because 1.4 has problems.

It worked. Couldnt find the messaging folder at 1st then found it under messaging.ink in the windows folder. This will help when I'm on a phone call and want to get a text out real fast rather then opening the keyboard. Thanks alot!

Re: Remapping Keys with Rhodium/Touch Pro 2 (CDMA/GSM)

No problem, sorry I shoulda specified windows folder but you found it. Glad it worked out for ya, I have my windows key mapped for double tap to open the messaging app, one of my favorite things about my phone now, anyone who used to have a titan with a dedicated messaging hardkey will appreciate it! Now that you know how to use the config, if you like to lock your phone with the stock windows lock screen like I do, map single press on the the power key to default action (make sure to check that extended emulation box i don't know why but it's the only way it works) and then map long press to lock the device, best thing ever!

I do the same thing with my power key. I found with manila 2.5 that v1.4 was screwing the single press of the key. I have gone back to v 1.3.2 and just selecting default key action for single press and then F22 (lock) for long press works the way you would want it to, perfectly.
