Finer Volume Control

Is there a way to adjust the volume in smaller increments than the default 6-7% on the stock Sprint ROM? Specifically, I am talking about the volume of the speaker on the back of the phone. I would like to be able to adjust in 1% increments. Anyone seen a fix for this?

Re: Finer Volume Control

If you know what you are doing you can adjust it in AudioPara.csv. Basically you can decide the absolute volume for every step. But you can't add more steps. So you can have finer control in the range you use most.

Thanks for the link. I see some mixed reviews. Has anyone else tried this?

Do you have a link to a thread that talks about this?
I am trying to take down the volume as it is too loud for my own personal taste.
I found an article that talks about the gainvolume but not sure how to edit the csv file.

Search the forum for it. There is a thread for every HTC WM phone.

There may even be an application on the phone for tweaking it, I'm not sure.

Just search for audiopara.csv
