Touch Pro 2 goes to Home screen in calls

I have been having an issue with the touch pro 2 going to the home screen while on a call. It's kinda annoying when I make calls that require me to enter digits to constantly have to hit the send button to get it out of the home screen to get to either the in call or numeric keypad screens. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Assuming you're on the stock Sprint ROM, I was having the same problem until I disabled my device lock (Settings->Lock). Once disabled, my phone stayed on the keypad during calls. If that works for you and you still want to be able to lock your phone, there are other phone locking apps available that will not screw up the keypad (I think S2U2 is one of these). Just do a quick search in this forum.
