Re: Call & Connect PC with Wi-Fi or Internet Sharing at same time?
No it isn't possible. Switch to a gsm carrier and it will be possible

Re: Call & Connect PC with Wi-Fi or Internet Sharing at same time?
There's hope that Sprint's 4G WiMax and Verizon's 4G LTE will ultimately be able to do this... but for now it can only be done in the U.S. if you're with AT&T or T-Mo

But here, it says: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...36&postcount=3
"Sprint is CDMA, AT&T is GSM. It's not so much a limitation of the phone as it is the technology Sprint uses. The only way around this is using WIFI." |

Re: Call & Connect PC with Wi-Fi or Internet Sharing at same time?
Both CDMA and GSM have the capability of doing simultaneous data and voice. It's just that Sprint and Verizon have decided not to dump the boatload of cash into their networks to do it right now.
AT&T and T-Mo spent their money on other things like simultaneous data and voice instead of rolling out 4G a little faster. As such, when Verizon and Sprint fully roll out their 4G networks, AT&T will be hosed |

Re: Call & Connect PC with Wi-Fi or Internet Sharing at same time?
LOL Wow dude. You missed the point entirely. Voice and Data via CDMA is not possible at the same time. If you connect your phone to a wifi hotspot you are no longer using data through CDMA you are using data via wifi. If you connect a laptop to your phone via wifi to share the internet, that internet is STILL coming through your phone's CDMA data connection.

Re: Call & Connect PC with Wi-Fi or Internet Sharing at same time?
What are you LOLing at?...
If the OP wants to connect to a wifi hotspot and surf while talking, it's possible But if he wants to talk on the phone and then enable Wifi via Internet sharing (like he mentioned in the first post), then currently CDMA can't do it (as has already been mentioned). But simultaneous data and voice IS possible over CDMA if the network decides to invest the money into it |
