4 months + old. Got a brand new TP2...Nice, because they told me it would be a refurb.

I had a couple pixels out and they gave me a new in box and let me keep all the accessories. Then I had the "N" key go out on the next one and that was a new in box replacement as well about a month ago.

Hopefully it's NIB. It's all a gamble. Just ask what your getting then you'll know:)

Thanks, you guys are giving me some hope here.

cfendrick, I did ask at the store and the girl said she didn't know, it would probably be a refurb and I will see when it gets there.

It will probably be in tomorrow or Monday. Can't wait. Power button is driving me nuts. Sometimes I have to press it 4-5 times before it turns on or off.

i received all 10 brand new tp2s cause they said they dont have any refurb phones in the warehouse yet.

just got a brand new one as well last week. a friend of mine got upgraded to a refurb tp2 from a tp1

It will be a refurb if they have some in stock. otherwise you will get nib. I had 3 replacements on my TP1 and 2 were nib and 1 was a refurb.

lemme ask you a question, do you make phone calls and text people, and maybe even every so often go on the web?

if you answered yes to ANY part of that, you're too rough on HTC phones and you'll have atleast 4 replacements this year... do yourself a favor and pay the $7 a month cause in the long run 599.99 is alot of money w/o insurance...

wow, 4 a year? never had to use the insurance though i've always paid.
how has someone gone through 10 tp2's already?

I have the insurance becuase yeah its an expensive phone and im rough on them, however had 2 TP1's for a year with no problems (mine and wives)

Now onto new or refurb,
I got 2 news from a swap up, and the vol up botton stoped working got nib,
The wife got a swap up, and got a refurb (about 2-3 months later then mine)

Man, replacement was ordered late Thursday night. The store usually gets replacements in next day but not on Saturdays. Monday is presidents day and Tuesday is mardi gras. That means the earliest I will get it is Wednesday. And to top it off since the girl at the store tried to open it up now some of my keyboard buttons don't work right. Ughh.
