newer 6.5.x roms

I noticed in newer rom the sip is bugged out! I used to own a diamond and touch pro before getting the touch pro2 and the keyboard would deploy or retract when pressing the icon om the 28002 and 28005. now all the builds i see for the tp2 sip menu pops up on single tap and its annoying! what happened to tapping and holding to get the menu? is this the chef fault or did windows change it?
