Keyboard issue question

Hello, I just got a TP2, stock rom, mind you it is unlocked now.

I tryed to enter my city in the weather database and now that doesnt work. (no biggie, just saying it so u know what I have done to the phone)

Now heres the weird part.

I open the keyboard. and the keyboard doesn't light up. I press a key it lights up, but the unit has to be on the table.

If the unit is sitting on the table I can press the keys, hard soft or whatever. and they stay lit up.

If I grab the unit and type with the right hand, while keeping my left hand away from the unit the keys light up

As soon as I hold the unit with both hands and press space or any other key, the keyboard doesnt light up anymore..

Seems it doesnt like my left hand near the camera or something?

Any ideas?
