Re: Going to Afghanistan with TP2...Ideas?
I'm going to South Africa in June for the World Cup and Sprint's international rates are ridiculous. Should I get a Go SIM card or wait until I'm there to get a Vodacom or MTN SIM card?

Re: Going to Afghanistan with TP2...Ideas?
when i was deployed to iraq, we were allowed to have our phone or we could buy iraqna cell phones. we used them on missions. the jammers we had would kill the signal but when we would get to a base there was not problem. i deploy to sinai in may and i am planing on using my tp2 or magic jack. stay safe.

Go for local SIM.I am in N.Africa all is good with local SIM's and wifi. Skype works flawlessly over wifi. I will be getting into the local 3G sometime...i dont need it now.
Good luck with Afgahnistan, my buddy is there, and has access to the internet...is is necessary that you go
