Re: Q9c owner wants to upgrade
thanks for the answers, I have talked to sprint and they will give me the 150 upgrade but not the 100 rebate. I think what mswlogo said about the warranty. I will give them a call again and negotiate, or would Bestbuy be better?

Re: Q9c owner wants to upgrade
as for warranty - here is interesting tip most people dont realize. HTC provides 1 year warranty on their devices from the DATE OF INITIAL ACTIVATION. That means you can buy a device from anywhere and as long as it was never activated - you warranty will start when you activate it on your account. My friend(the one i talked about earlier) has activated his TP2 from craigslist and warranty is valid for a whole year(minus 2 weeks(he activated it the same day he bought it from the guy) although the device itself was manufactured 3 month ago and sold to initial owner 2 month ago(but was never activated by initial owner). Naturally that waranty is not for your-fault defects, for that get the $4(not the $7 they try to sell you) within 30 days of activation(or 30 days after you brought it in for any service). Then between HTC 1 year + $4 "stupidity" waranties you are covered no matter if its devices fault or you drowned/lost/had it stolen - basically you covered 100%
