Re: Touch Pro2 Reg Edits/Stuff to backup

anyone know of a reg entry that will back up sense wallpaper, and start menu wallpaper?

I tried: HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila

which has:
AnimatedBackgroundPath (string)
HomeBackgroundPath (string)

I would think that if backed up these string values it would set my wallpaper on restore. Can't get it to work...

Thanks! After getting rid of my Treo 700p, I just gave up on the autologin to voicemail. From time to time, I think "maybe I shouldn't have it autologin in case I lose my phone" but honestly, there's no one that wants my voicemail!

EDIT: Yikes, maybe I should have investigated first - when I put this entry in, I held down 1 to go to voicemail and got some scary message about Virgin Mobile, or something. It was scary, so I hung up, went back to the registry and took out the entry.

Thanks though

Nothing works!! And I even copied the full path from the shortcut in the Programs menu, it definitely works and all (program/path itself).

Appreciate any help!!

edit: And I did even soft reset in between each alteration...
Try pointing to the .LNK file which exists in your \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\.... path.

My mother has PI9 and uses the LSK all the time to point to the PI9 shortcut.

One other idea, is a program called, "Manila Soft Keys". After you install it, you can use it to set your Softkeys to whatever you want, including shortcuts to installed applications.

The *86 may only be for Verizon...

Try keeping everything the exact same, except instead of *86, put your 10-digit phone number without any dashes (like this: 1234567890pXXXX - where XXXX is your password)

Yes it works but here is the issue, most cell phone companies have a limit on the amount they can receive so if you set it this high to send you will get an error back saying that the service provider has a limit on their receiving mms.
