Data connection while connected vis USB?

Is it possible to get a data connection while in activesync?

I'm not 100% positive, but I believe the setting you are referring to allows the phone to pull data from the PC's internet connection. That's based on my observation of the antenna bars while hooked up to my pc. I don't see the data connection visible, yet it still updates weather and such.

Yes it is possible to have a data connection while your in Windows Mobile Device Center, and im almost certain on ActiveSync.

I still get my emails (manually) & able to surf the net on my TP2 while I am tethered to my laptop.
Is that data usage?

Yes, thats still data running to your phone
