spb news adding feeds problem

Ok so i installed spb news. everything looks great but when i go to add a news feed (channel) from the list provided i can not open the on screen folders to select a feed. anyone else have this problem ? any work around ?

Update - if figured out how to open the folders by using my pgup and pgdown as well as left and right buttons but i can not select the check boxes for the individual feeds.
