Re: Telus Touch Pro 2 virgin purchase for use on Bell?
No they have to accept the esn in their system. If they do then you are ok if not you can't do it legally.

Re: Telus Touch Pro 2 virgin purchase for use on Bell?
What is the history of Bell accepting the ESN of the Telus Touch Pro 2 ? I believe both networks are interoperable with no roaming fees IE my Bell phone uses Telus towers all the time. I'm a noob with this aspect of the phones. Also will Bell offer a Touch Pro 2 soon? The thing has been out for ten months already.

Re: Telus Touch Pro 2 virgin purchase for use on Bell?
You're probably better off going into a mall and asking someone in the kiosks or stores. They usually have their finger on the pulse for what's being released within the next few months.
They would also tell you straight up if it's possible to legally switch a Telus phone to Bell's system. That being said...if you get a no from one person, you can continue searching until you find someone that is willing to initiate the process for you. |

Re: Telus Touch Pro 2 virgin purchase for use on Bell?
hey Solid-State,
sadly you won't be able to get a Virgin Telus Touch Pro 2, and be able to use with on Bell Mobility. The Telus Touch Pro 2 is designed to go CDMA on Telus Network ONLY while in North America... once CDMA isn't available, then will use the SIM (Global Mode). The ONLY thing you can do is get a Bell Mobility SIM Card, and use an unlocked GSM Touch Pro 2. Hope this helps. |
