Re: Quick camera question
i don't believe so. well i haven't seen any apps for it to do this. most apps just open up different camera features ie: sports mode and landscaping etc.
but i don't think its that long of a time i mean it has messed up my timing on a few pics before

Re: Quick camera question
I was going to say turn on touch focus to pre-focus, but it seems even after you manually pre-focus when you press the shutter release it re-focuses on the same spot. That's pretty eff'n gay.
Also, does anyone know how to map a physical key to the shutter release? I have the keyboard controller installed already and have mapped the back mute button long press to start the camera application. |

The only way you could have zero lag is to turn off the auto-focus & as far as I know that isn't possible. ~John |

Eliminate the lag when taking a picture Code: HKLM/Software/HTC/Camera/Captparam\ Set "CaptureTimer" to 0 Thanks to ksg |

Never mind, the link wasn't working but it is now. I tried all those tweaks months ago & they made no difference whatever as far as lag goes in my system. Basically, the TP2 just has a really awful camera (even for a camera phone) |

Otherwise, the tweak does what it supposed to - push the onscreen button, pics get captured almost immediately. |
