i just got this message the other day on mighty rom i was plugged into the car charger from verizon when i got it. how safe is the nuepower battery? i wouldnt want to fry my usb port on my computer/ps3 or phone

I had that message on the STOCK sprint rom.. then on MIGHTY 1/13 I didnt see it.. now in Mighty 2/1 and I see it again... The USB cable is directly into the USB port on the DELL PC. not going through a HUB

The stock charger is 1.0A or 1000 miliamps. There is nothing wrong with your phones. If you are running a lot of aps with a weak charger, you might actually be DRAINING battery while it is plugged in. I bought a charger "set" (car and home) for my 6700 three years ago off eBay and they were crap. I could only charge with the phone powered off. You get what you pay for.

I want to Say I agree with AV8TR. I get this message once in a while with a cheapo charger I use. but usually if I shut off the backlight (suspend button) and let it sit a while I comeback and it is charged. Worst case scenario when I was near dead battery was to switch to airplane mode, and charge for short while, you know with backlight off.
