*BOUNTY* 4 solution for USCC MMS in Sense 2.5

update.... messed around with my mms network settings, and got it so the vids/pics send, WITH content (on LEAD rom (which i really like)), but now i keep getting the 'dialed #777 failed' error message... any fix for that?

As to the #777 thing check in Settings / Connections / Connections / Manage existing connections.

I have one called "Sprint" #777
which, if I edit, and next a few times has no username and password, and advanced has "use server assigned IP address".

I think just playing around in there will fix things as it is already connected to "Sprint" or you wouldn't be doing things. But this is a prob I had long time ago and went away. possibly because of a few hard resets which would have simply blanked things in there (not suggesting you go do a hard reset!) So play a little in that area and see what happens. Things like Sprint TV (which if you're using Boost network, as I am, can't work) use that.

no fix, but a hint maybe. I gon one as I was shutting down yesterday and remembered that occasionally I get them on shutdown, because it shuts off the phone connection before it completes shutting off the phone. but this is rather obvious as it shows X's in the top info bar of the screen, as if you had turned the phone part off, or gone into airport mode, and I assume you do not have any X's in the top info bar....... If you do, a hard reset would be in order if simply turning the p0hone on doesn't do it. ( settings / connections / Comm Manager - make sure phone and airport sliders are green.(and data!!!)

Try dialing ##3282# enter MSL and restore to reprovision. If that doesn't do it try dialing ##786# then click on Menu at the bottom right.
Press Reset then OK and then enter your MSL. The phone will do a hard reset and reprovision.

Haven't had the problem for a day or so.. seems like it only happens when i leave data-using programs open.. i just keep my task manager clean now and it seems to be working..
