Ohhhhhh Kay. First let me say this. If you don't read your own replies, there is no way to reason with you. I only mentioned ATM machines and so on because you said that the only thing keeping WinMo going was PowerPoint etc...(you were way off on that one). Secondly yes, some of us have seen WinMo 7. Third, from your other post...Your rep shows you have been here a long time...I have been here longer and thru other means provided help to many members. I don't mind staying in the background and for certain reasons, I have to. Lastly, yes, I have seen, held and played with many devices, including Android devices. The Nexus is nothing compared to a few devices coming out in 2.5 months. You talk about it being more powerful then the TP2..well duh..it has a faster processor. Of course its faster. The nexus is not more powerful then the HD2 and not nearly as smooth as an HD2 with Sense 2.6 or running Titanium. That is an apples to apples comparison.

Anyhow, whatever floats your boat. All of these phones and their OS's will just continue to leapfrog each other. For the end user/consumer its a good thing because you get more for your buck.

Your jumping the bandwagon to android. Not surprising there are a lot of ppl front running out there.

Google supports activesync. They use activesync to connect to exchange. They do not support all of the exchange features. There was a report published a few months ago that exchange has 29 or so features that google and apple dont even implement - either all or the vast majority. Some of which were security features. If i have time and can find it I definitely will post the link to it.

I am also curious what your daily job etc is.

What is your foundation for 2011 androids will rule the world? Even Gartner who does this for a living said they will gain market share but still be far behind Symbian.

What I would like to know is, how come no one talks about google and privacy violation? They index, catalog, data mine everything about you. Gmail (their apps, web robots, algorithms ) read your information and sell it to vendors. Google voice they convert your voice to text, data mine it and sell it. They forget to remove it from google search indexing and next thing you know everyones information is public information. Do you really think android is going to be anything different for them? Nothing is Free, especially not with GOOGLE.

For what its worth, Ive come across enterprise admins who have run android and laughed at it compared to RIM and Winmo.
it's late excuse my typos or grammar...

my last reply in the "dispute" android vs winmo, there is a reason we are all waiting for winmo 7 (including myself) and that is because windows 6.anything is outdated compared to any os out there, thats the bottom line. I'm not doubting windows potential and i hope to god once winmo 7 hits, winmo will finally get the support from all the app makers and so forth, but until then the winmo 6 series is a completely outdated OS. now if someone wants to ask me anything i'm all ears but i'm not having a debate anymore. Once winmo 7 drops i'll be the 1st person in line to buy on whatever phone supports it.

Dragon2, so you went to the Droid huh? Your a sellout, you sold out to the man. You should've at least tried to slow down the Nexus video to make our TP2 look faster.

Re: My Touch pro2 vs my Nexus on browser comparison

lol @ people trying to come up with every excuse in the book as to not accept the obvious fact that winmo sucks compared to other OS out now. I dont care what anyone says, I still have my tp2 and I have an iphone 3gs.. my girl has a droid. Between the 3 the tp2 is the slowest, least responsive and most likely to freeze up or have to hard reset. I'm just telling it like it is... the other 2 phones are so smooth compared to winmo its not even funny.

Personally im jumping ship to android when the supersonic comes out. I've stuck with winmo since the mogul but winmo now is like an 85 volkswagon cirocco compared to everything coming out. Look at most carriers roadmaps for phone releases this year, everyone is flooding the market with android and there's a reason for that. The only decent winmo phone i've seen coming out this year will be the HD2. And I have to agree with slim.. I said the same thing in another post, microsoft office is the only advantage to winmo now aside from folks that care about flashing roms.. which I would say is probably only about 10% of the market... if even that much. If a lot of people actually cared about that they wouldnt actually PREFER a phone that does exactly what they want right out of the box. Because lets just keep it real, if it werent for the ability to port roms over to winmo and get off that crappy stock os how many people would even have interest in it here still? I know I wouldnt..

But I digress.. people will come with the "troll" comments to keep from admitting the obvious, but it seems to me sales over the past 3 quarters in terms of OS going forward dont lie. People bash the iphone but that one phone outsold every device that has winmo on it...one phone. Call em sheep, call em whatever you want but the phone is way faster, way more responsive and has literally no issues with freezing for me. Between it and my girls droid I havent even picked my tp2 up in the past 3 days.

This is a very good point.
My wife ceased using her Gmail account within about a month... we set it all up and started using G-mail, sharing G-calender stuff etc, seemed like a great idea... BUT the subject related advertising at the side of your mail window freaked her out, we weren't passing super sensitive goverment information back and forth through a web based mail server or anything, but never the less, she realy disliked it and stopped using it.
These days, I send anything important through my work mail and don't access G-mail on my work computer, I like the services Google provide, but I don't trust them at all.
Now, a whole OS for my mobile device from that company... sorry, I couldn't go there.

Re: My Touch pro2 vs my Nexus on browser comparison

Uhh, a Nexus One has a 1GHz processor, it damn sure better be outperforming a 528MHz one. Compare something like the MyTouch3G (Android 1.6) to the TP2 (WM6.5) :-p

At any rate the Nexus One is an awesome phone. Do they have them to demo at a T-Mobile store?
