Dragon2, so you went to the Droid huh? Your a sellout, you sold out to the man. You should've at least tried to slow down the Nexus video to make our TP2 look faster.

Re: My Touch pro2 vs my Nexus on browser comparison
lol @ people trying to come up with every excuse in the book as to not accept the obvious fact that winmo sucks compared to other OS out now. I dont care what anyone says, I still have my tp2 and I have an iphone 3gs.. my girl has a droid. Between the 3 the tp2 is the slowest, least responsive and most likely to freeze up or have to hard reset. I'm just telling it like it is... the other 2 phones are so smooth compared to winmo its not even funny.
Personally im jumping ship to android when the supersonic comes out. I've stuck with winmo since the mogul but winmo now is like an 85 volkswagon cirocco compared to everything coming out. Look at most carriers roadmaps for phone releases this year, everyone is flooding the market with android and there's a reason for that. The only decent winmo phone i've seen coming out this year will be the HD2. And I have to agree with slim.. I said the same thing in another post, microsoft office is the only advantage to winmo now aside from folks that care about flashing roms.. which I would say is probably only about 10% of the market... if even that much. If a lot of people actually cared about that they wouldnt actually PREFER a phone that does exactly what they want right out of the box. Because lets just keep it real, if it werent for the ability to port roms over to winmo and get off that crappy stock os how many people would even have interest in it here still? I know I wouldnt.. But I digress.. people will come with the "troll" comments to keep from admitting the obvious, but it seems to me sales over the past 3 quarters in terms of OS going forward dont lie. People bash the iphone but that one phone outsold every device that has winmo on it...one phone. Call em sheep, call em whatever you want but the phone is way faster, way more responsive and has literally no issues with freezing for me. Between it and my girls droid I havent even picked my tp2 up in the past 3 days. |

My wife ceased using her Gmail account within about a month... we set it all up and started using G-mail, sharing G-calender stuff etc, seemed like a great idea... BUT the subject related advertising at the side of your mail window freaked her out, we weren't passing super sensitive goverment information back and forth through a web based mail server or anything, but never the less, she realy disliked it and stopped using it. These days, I send anything important through my work mail and don't access G-mail on my work computer, I like the services Google provide, but I don't trust them at all. Now, a whole OS for my mobile device from that company... sorry, I couldn't go there.

Re: My Touch pro2 vs my Nexus on browser comparison
Uhh, a Nexus One has a 1GHz processor, it damn sure better be outperforming a 528MHz one. Compare something like the MyTouch3G (Android 1.6) to the TP2 (WM6.5) :-p
At any rate the Nexus One is an awesome phone. Do they have them to demo at a T-Mobile store? |
