Re: Battery draining, dont know why?
Actually, you might be right about the Windows Live part. I have been getting worse battery only recently. I hadn't noticed it as much because with school out I hadn't been out and about as much. But the same setup did for sure work fine before (push Windows Live and Google Sync). So either it's the new 6.5/VZW Radio or some Windows Live change.

On my TP, without push e-mail I'd have maybe 60% battery after a day, with great service all day. With push e-mail enabled, it would be below 10% every time, if not dead. Same goes here, though the TP2 doesn't have as terrible of a battery. I've still been yet to get my TP2 to have the battery life my TP did but I don't have as much stripped out either - weather updates, e-mail every hour, etc and I get through every day just fine. |

Re: Battery draining, dont know why?
Right, but what I was saying is that my battery was good before, even with 2 push email accounts on. In the newest MightyROM he said he fixed a bug where Windows Live would hang in the background, so maybe that has something to do with it.

But my Hotmail is my lifeline to the world - so that is turned on as mail arrives. So when you say Windows Live, are you particularly saying the Mail program on the TP2 that drags in your Hotmail as it arrives (I can only have 1 native Hotmail account in the TP2 mail section). |

Re: Battery draining, dont know why?
No, it's somewhere in the 2,000 page MightyROM thread, haha. And I'm not sure if it was related to his ROM specifically or applied to others as well.

Not sure what caused the sudden steep drop and kicking myself for not noting the nominal mA rate when everything seemed fine. But now I see average discharge rates around 200mA when nothing is running and the screen is on. I changed from "Global" to "CDMA Only", but that did not appear to do anything. I just installed acbPowerMeter, so I will also do some experiments to see what is affecting consumption and report back.
