Re: Sprint TP2 on Verizon. 1 company 10 stories
My Sprint TP1 was still good to go on VZW when I got my TP2 from VZW. I was scared to flash roms because I thought it might knock it off the network or something. I'm glad VZW woke up and stopped crippling their phones. I hate work-a-rounds for incompetence.

No I edited everything myself using the thread on this forum and then used *228 option 3 to program it. I have been told option three was eliminated. It was used for programing non VZW phones when they allowed it.

Re: Sprint TP2 on Verizon. 1 company 10 stories
Verizon is taking a very hard line stance now-adays. Any non-verizon phone will *NOT* be added to their DMD (device management database). Even if you get a tech support agent to submit a ticket to their internal dept. if it is a verizon device, ie ALTELL they will add it, but if it is a non verizon device they will know and won't add it. Sucks for me. I don't understand the point of www.verizonwireless.com/activateyourdevice why have a website to add 3rd party devices if its not in your policy? I'm fed up and dissatisfied with verizon. I feel like switching to sprint.

Re: Sprint TP2 on Verizon. 1 company 10 stories
Now they are giving me the "let us send your phone to the warehouse" story again.
Is there anyone here that works at verizon? Please shed some light on why I am going through this. It's such a simple request. Add my phones ESN to your DB so I can activate it..... It's like they don't want my money anymore. "Thanks for being the most important part of Verizon Wireless, our customer" BULLLL |
