Touch Pro 2 battery indicator

In the old Touch Pro, if you touched the battery icon on the top part of your screen, it would show you your battery meter. This doesn't seem to be possible with the TP2. All I can seem to do is go to settings and then click on the battery section to get here, is there a better shortcut that I'm not aware of? TIA!
