Works: HTC Enhanced Menus while TF3D/Sense is turned off
Hi Touch Pro 2 Fans,
Sense UI is cool but I need practically full screen TodayAgenda on my Today Screen, so Sense UI/TF3D/Titanium are all off and I'm back to old-skool Today Screen - but running UltimateLaunch with sliding screens to give me the best of all worlds!
However, turning off Sense UI means I lost the really nice HTC Menu enhancements they'd skinned over the whole of WM6.5 etc. I missed those much more than the Sense UI Today Screen.
However, through reading a variety of posts here tonight I've found 2 registry edits on different posts that together enable the HTC Menu Enhancements while Sense UI/TF3D is off.
Try this:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GWE\Menu]
CUIHandler = 1 (dword)
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\HTCMenus]
EnableManilaCheck = 0 (dword)
(You'll need to add the above dword, it's not there by default )
So Sense is turned off and I've still got the enhanced menus!
Hope this helps someone out there!
Cheers,
Andy.
