Virtual Keyboard on newer OS builds (23518):

On older builds, when you tap the keyboard icon it will bring up the keyboard, tap again and it will go away........how can I get this feature back with 23518? with the newer builds, when you tap the keyboard for it to go away, it brings up the list of other keyboards.

Is it 6.5.x? I don't keep track of build numbers with OSes and just know 6.5 or 6.5.x. If it is the 6.5.x build, tap to the left of the button in the open space and it should go down. If you tap on the right side, it brings up the SIP selector.

Tap slightly underneath the icon and swipe up to close. Its one of the most annoying things on those newer builds.

Yeah I noticed that on 6.5.3. I read in the Malrom thread you can press the bottom left corner of the keyboard icon to close it

all 6.5.x builds after a certain number have always had this problem. I can't wait till its fixed. this is driving me crazy. I use 6.5.x to be more finger friendly but i'm 6'4 and my fingers can't press that corner correctly everytime.
