Browse what files? on a local network? You can. Google "HTC Network Plugin". I think the name "Javs" or something similar is in the filename. I'd upload the cab file, but I'm on the mobile browser. This will allow your phone's File Explorer to view shared files/folders on your local network. Streaming works too. I'm not sure, but I hope this answers your question.

Re: Share (Browse) Files on Network?
It's actually called "Schaps_NetworkPlugin" and it works extremely well on WiFi networks. I use it all the time to stream MP3s and videos from my NAS drive on my home network. It allows you to map network drives using a single username/password. A must have if you ask me.
I attached the CAB below. |

Re: Share (Browse) Files on Network?
You can do this with resco explorer:
Resco Explorer: The Network Browser The Network Browser let's you discover and take advantage of the wired-up world directly from your device. Simply map the shared network folders and work with them as easily as with the local ones. Various settings allow you to set your network drive in the exact way as you desire. http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/explorer/indepth.asp

Re: Share (Browse) Files on Network?
Yea, that's the one. Total Commander can also do this. You need to go up to the root level. It can also FTP to web servers if you have one (ppcgeeks)
