normally i would recommend tp2 but being as you are a palm user, I am going to have to recommend the hero, to me they are on the same platform. Windows will take a lot of customization to get it working and i'm not sure if you're down for that. Right out the box, the hero is more user friendly.

They gave me $78 credit for my touch pro. He took it right there on the spot. He didn't care that I didn't have any of the stuff with it. Told me they only use them for parts now. I even had the camera removed and had it flashed. They didn't care.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)

i havent read the other replies in this thread yet but ill post my reason.

I just moved to the tp2 on friday from on diamond.

This is EASILY the best phone ive ever owned. it just FEELS like a well made phone in your hands perfectly balanced but not bulky or brickish either.

Performance wise ive had no issue from it whatsoever. Even when running Sprints STOCK it's handled everything flawlessly which really impressed me after dealing with a Diamond for over a year.

finally get the tp2 because it will soon run android whereas the moment and hero will ONLY ever be android devices and nothing can change that.

+1

User experience will vary from person to person. Get the TP2 and use it just as you did the phone you have now. If you don't like it, take it back for something else.

ummm i can see how pandora would kill the battery fairly quickly but you must have some crap running in the background if your phone dies at 5 hours and you aren't using it. have you used any of the optimization tweaks like the one from goodthings2life?

I couldn't agree more. If I don't use my phone it will last almost 2 days. I can use it heavily for a whole day and be fine and I am using Energy rom 6.5.x

Get an Android phone, right now WinMo is dead until the 7 release. Why would you want to stick with old junk if you had a choice?

Re: convince me to buy a touch pro2

I am a long time touch pro user, and when i switched to the touch pro 2 i was amazed. Idk what people are doing with there phones, or anything but i would have to say my battery lasts atleast a day, and being on all night. The sleek screen is really what won me over. I would definatly say go with the touch pro 2, and like others said, they are working on a droid platform for the touchpro 2 so why not have best of both worlds?
