How to remove sigs emails and text?

I hate that when I send a text i'm already 20 characters in because it has the little 'sent from my htc' sig at the end. Also same thing with emails... nobody cares that I emailed them from my touch pro 2... where can i get rid of these sigs? thanks.

Menu -> Tools -> Options signatures
