Please help me to get exchange going on MightyROM

I know, I know, post in the mighty thread...I did that, not really getting any traction over there. I seem to be the only person on the planet who gets the 0x85010013 error ever since his 1/04 release and cannot sync with my companies exchange server. If I go back to his 12/30 release, I am fine with syncing, but any newer ROMS and no good. No one had provided any help that worked so I figured I would try the general forums.

I have tried the i780/wmpolicy cabs, no good, just in case anyone suggests that. I tried viewing the registries of 12/30 and 1/04 side by side and tried my best to change what I could to make the exchange policy settings match, but no good.

So I will start with the small things and hope it helps me find my way to a change that works.

Anyone know where the reg edits/settings are to change these options in 1/13ROM:

I got an answer to this previously, but it did not work. I am trying desperately to get off 12/30 ROM and get into 2010 with everyone else and get my exchange working without the 0x85010013 error...

I have been using exchange for years at my work. Works fine on every Mighty release.

I assume you are having problems with security/pin issues. Did you run the cab that was posted a week or so ago to help those that had Exchange issues?

Yeah I tried the patch wmpolicy/i780 patch did not work. I can get to the screen where it asks me to enter a pin after I sync, but after that, it does not sync anything and i get the error 0x85010013.

I have no problems with exchange up through the 12/30 MM ROM release. If I use anything newer then that ROM i have issues, so its something in the changes but I dont think Mighty really has the time/interest in tracking this issue down for one solitary user...

Try the 1/13 release. I believe he made some exchange server changes in that release or the 1/10.

it gets even worse with the 1/13 release, i cant even get to the set pin screen....with 1/04 i would at least get to the pin screen then it would through the error afterwards... i think im done with the mightyrom series....this is driving me crazy.

No offense but sometimes with a ROM series, weird stuff happens that eventually get fixed. I have seen many posts in the MR thread and I think one other person is having a problem. I use exchange myself and I have no problems whatsoever.

Maybe its something to do with your exchange setup on the server side. You could also try other roms.

but why would the 12/30 release be fine but anything after that causes issues. its a change in the rom, not the server that is causing this...

Maybe try loading stock rom, clear storage, then reload might back then hard reset. Run that first before installing or restoring anything else.

IF "very" few others are having issues, and theres ALOT of users that use Exchange that use Mighty Roms, then it would be irresponsible to blame the rom. Its either something your doing to your phone or something on the server side with Exchange.

this may or what you are looking for. I am running exchange on latest mighty no problem here is the setting for pass "HKLM\Security\Policies\00001023: 0 = Enabled; 1 = Disabled" you do not need to soft reset just edit reg then go into lock and untick box prompt if phone unused for

• Enable/Disable the Exchange security policy - HKLM\Security\Policies\00001023: 0 = Enabled; 1 = Disabled
• Inactivity time
  • HKLM\Comm\Security\Policy\LASSD\AE\{50C13377-C66D-400C-889E-C316FC4AB374}\AEFrequencyType: 0 = No inactivity time; 1 = Activity time enable
  • HKLM\Comm\Security\Policy\LASSD\AE\{50C13377-C66D-400C-889E-C316FC4AB374}\AEFrequencyValue: number of minutes before timeout
• Password strength
  • Minimum number of characters: HKLM\Comm\Security\Policy\LASSD\LAP\lap_pw\Minimum PasswordLength
  • Password complexity: HKLM\Comm\Security\Policy\LASSD\LAP\lap_pw\Passwor dComplexity: 0 = Require Alphanumeric; 1 = Require numeric (PIN); 2 = No restriction
• Wipe settings
  • Number of failed attempts before all your information will go: HKLM\Comm\Security\Policy\LASSD\DeviceWipeThreshol d: -1 = disabled; other failed attempts
