Official HTC TP1 2016 fix...is it safe for us too?

I wonder if this is safe for the TP2 folks on 6.5? Sounds like a legit fix and not the kinda bootleg workaround method.

No it contains the RLLphone.dll which changes from phone to phone if I am not mistaken

Yep.. I also saw that when I downloaded it after posting. and said nope, I'm not installing that.

I'm betting Sprint is sitting on their 6.5 update due to this issue.

The rilphone is different between those phones, so no it won't work, even though I knew this, I did have to try, why, because I could. There is a CorrectSMSDate program in the cab that will fix the date/time in the messaging database. You can extract the file yourself, or I already posted it over here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=104248
