I heard that Verizon had theirs out on HTC website but then HTC pulled it out. Some people got the Verizon 6.5 ROM before HTC pulled it. Wonder why they did that?! I'm of course am waiting for the Sprint 6.5 ROM but it would be funny if the ROM isn't all cracked up to be as people think. My phone is working GREAT with MIGHTYROM and with all the fuss going on, I wouldnt be surprised if alot of us stick with the custom ROM's instead!

its going to suck... im willing to bet. lots of people who installed the verizon 6.5 says it sucks..... and go back to a cooked rom

all standard cooked roms using winmo 6.5 and sense 2.1 roms will be better then the stock verizon, tmobile, or sprint roms. I agree with your statement.

Windows Mobile 6.5 Planned for HTC Touch Pro2 from Sprint


Sprint and HTC are currently developing a release of Windows Mobile 6.5 for the HTC Touch Pro2 that is expected to be available to customers by end of first quarter, 2010. This upgrade will not only provide updates to the Windows Mobile platform, but also significant enhancements to the Touch Pro2 user interface which will allow additional customization/personalization options and more integration with the applications users access most.

Also, a mod should really consider updating this thread title, since the Sprint mod at the BAW forum already stated end of Q1 (target), which is quite obviously not 2/1/10.

i called on and was told the same thing. they directed me to the microsoft website where they got the information. and it said the tp2 should be getting its update between jan-fab. but that was for all tp2 it didnt specify and since some of the others have recieved theirs it shouldnt be too long now.

I Third the motion. When the Sprint Rom comes out I'll give it a whirl BUT... I can bet that I will be going back to my Mighty Rom which to me is the smoothest running Rom yet. Thanx Mighty for the Great work! We all have our preferences so everyone chill and when the Sprint Rom comes out....we will all take it from there! Just keep on with your work Mighty...I guarantee you alot of us will be sticking with you! :headbang:

I agree that Mighty's is the best period.. I've tried other ones but his out of the box comes custimized and is WAY better than the current stock rom and WILL be better than the new one. I'll just come here to see what people think about Sprints version, but I'll continue using Mighty's. Keep up the great work!

If it's not available by then, won't you be able to tell from that fact alone that it's been pushed back without calling someone and having them tell you? Am I missing something here?
