I am getting a white line in the Green bubbles?

I saw that someone else had the problem, but now I can't find the post.

I've noticed this creates some lag time while loading a message thread? Is this normal? Any way to bypass this?

Anybody got any issues with the messages going to the top of the conversation when you open it up? its annoying!

Same type of lag as me. It looks like it is rebuilding the text thread for viewing and having the graphics in there is slowing down the process.

Anyone having luck finding a cure for this?

Using the 6.5 sms bubbles, does anyone's bubble have a small icon in the background which covers up the first couple letters of the text? Its like a watermark or logo the creator put in there, really annoying.

edit: nevermind I see the images contain the watermark. I can edit and remove it if someone can re-cab.

But this is only for new messages, it goes away..

The size of the sms_outbg.gif and sms_inbg.gif is too small. If you resize the files to 225x80 it will eliminate the space caused by names that take up two lines.

The watermark indicates that a message is unread. Not really necessary.

I decided to fiddle with this and make my own skin. It's not the greatest, but I like it better than the original. I included a version for 6.1 and old 6.5 builds(21xxx), as well as one for new 6.5 builds (23xxx). I haven't tried the latter one since I'm running an older build, but it should look the same.

If you previously installed this via cab I recommend you uninstall the cab then soft reset before installing the new cab. The new install would sometimes get messed up if I didn't do a soft reset first.
