Verizon 6.5 Upgrade Tweaks?
 

I recently upgraded my VZW TP2 to the official WM 6.5. And my phone is running at 72% Program Usage at start up & programs don't end when I 'x-out' of them. Is there a clean up/cab to to solve this problem. I tried using the clean up cab provided by GoodThing2Life when I had WM 6.1 and it worked great. I tried it on my upgraded 6.5 and it doesn't work. Can anybody help?

That cab is only for 6.1. Did you even read that he said he tried that cab?
You need the disable push internet cab. Also I suggest you clean up the startup folder under windows.

thanks, but I have that cab & used it. It doesn't work on WM 6.5

There's another CAB that removes something else along with the push internet but I cannot think of it at the moment. Anyone have this "other" removal for Sense 2.1?

I'm having the same troubles as the OP. I installed the no push cab and tried the same registry tweaks with 6.1. Now the phone starts with 46% usage, but the number takes off whenever Opera is opened and it doesn't go back down.

I think that you're referring to the Dynamic Resource Proxy tweak which changes the ShareMemSize value in the registry to 0. My experience, noted by others as well, is that the default value keeps getting re-set, essentially making this tweak useless, for now. Some have suggested that the CM Guardian service is putting this back, but disabling it apparently doesn't have any effect on the re-setting.
