Re: T-Mobile to have 8 in HTC lineup in 2010
The fee's went up it has been out awhile now the news but sprint is making each line now .40 from .20 and if you have any kind of spending limit on your account it is 4.99 a month unless you go to auto pay.
So people are calling up and getting out of there contract cause if you have a contract before the price went up the first of the year you can call up and get out of the ETF.But i would never do that since if you call and say you will leave cause of it they will credit your account and tmobile sucks in coverage and it is GSM. Plus there plans are way more then what sprint offers with all the discounts they are giving out due to this. But i wish they would get with the program and get some new HTC phones. Remember GSM is why they are getting that many. |

I actually just got out of my 4-month old Sprint contract a few days ago because of this fee and am using my Sprint TP2 with T-Mobile's "Even More Plus" plan (59.99, 500 mins, unlimited data, unlimited text, no contract). Since it's contract-free, I'm sticking with this plan temporarily until the Snapdragon phones start rolling out this year. Unfortunately, the Sprint TP2 doesn't do so well on T-Mobile, but that's a whole other thread entirely. Last edited by xsytrance; 01-12-2010 at 06:05 PM. |

Re: T-Mobile to have 8 in HTC lineup in 2010
well officially jan 10th there is a fee for those with an account spending limit type account of 4.99 that they will be charging and for those that dont have that kinda account. your regulatory cost recovery fee has gone up 40 cents. seems small but in either case its a breech of contract and i have confirmed this twice yesterday and 3 weeks ago with sprint. so this gives you an option to bounce with no etf!

Re: T-Mobile to have 8 in HTC lineup in 2010
I love how a post on T-Mobile always becomes on how bad Sprint is!
You're right about the previous lineup with T-Mobile. For the past whatever many years, there has only been one WinMo device offered at one time. HTC Wizard, HTC Wing, now the TP2. It's nice to see that they are investing more in HTC. I bet that as bigger phones become more acceptable this year with the push for slates, I'm sure you'll see the Leo with a keyboard later this year. Maybe it will be called the Touch Pro 3 (see still relevant to the TP2 forums)!!!! |

Re: T-Mobile to have 8 in HTC lineup in 2010
IF you look at this way, T-mobile and At&t have the highest drop calls. With Tmobile even more plus plan for 59.99 and you still will not get 4G network. 4G is only Sprint has it now in other state already, it is heading to CA in 2010!!! What can you compare from T-mobile to Sprint in their serivce? Sprint is even better than Verizon! Clear call at all time and more coverages on their map all over 50 states.
Tmobile just launch their 3g network in 2009, old school. Their rate plan is suck, 59.99 even more plus only gives customer unlimitied text and talk , no data included!!! if you want data, 29.99 + to get it....Bad choice |

Re: T-Mobile to have 8 in HTC lineup in 2010
I would love to switch to T-Mo, but south of San Antonio it is pretty much EVDO/CDMA Data country, sure you have your 3G but it is far and few compare to EV which again is the dominate data carrier.
I dont really worry about "voice" moreless every carriers has about the same coverage. "Data" coverage/speed is most important factor for me.
