Linking the location field of appointment to Google Maps or Gamin Mobile XT?

I found it very convenient that the dialer pops up when you tap a 10-digit phone number in the text of an appointment.
Similarly, is it possible to link the location field of appointment to Google Maps or Gamin Mobile XT?
It would be really cool.

Re: Linking the location field of appointment to Google Maps or Gamin Mobile XT?

I've used Garmin Mobile XT to create a route to various family members, and in the "Where To" options, selected Contacts, and then selected the one I wanted (where I had previously entered the physical address). I've noticed when I go to their entry in Contacts, the Lat/Long shows up there in the "Call Radio" section.

Not sure if this is what you had in mind, but I thought that was pretty cool.

I was just thinking about this the other day. Not sure if this might require some support from Microsoft to do in the default calendar app though.

Me too. I'm thinking of doing it the other way. It's when the location is a place that you don't frequent - thus, unlikely to be pre-defined inside Garmin - that you really need the navigation's help.
