max number of opera tabs on stock rom??

i am stock, i was curious what is the maximum number of opera tabs... i am getting only 2 open...

is my thing broken??

Search for Opera tabs tweaks. It is modifiable on a stock ROM

no default is 2 tabs max..but you can have way more at once..and to do that do this!.

open opera!....in the address bar delete everything in there then type OPERA:CONFIG.....click GO it'll take you to preferences editor screen youll see alot of options then go to USER PREFS open that....then half way down you'll see maximum allowed tabs then change the 2 into whatever you want..then go all the way down and click save settings and reset...if i helped click thanks!..

That didn't work with 6.1. We had to go into OS to make the change that would stick allowing for more open opera screens at one time.

Have you verified that this works with 6.5?

i am using 6.1 pro..im with sprint so the 6.5 is not out yet..im on stock rom..im sure it should work with 6.5 also

I bet this is one of those things where Verizon chose to do things a bit different.

Any Verizon users have this setting stick?

If you are having a problem with the settings sticking, there is another way to tweak your settings.
Go to Windows/Opera9/opera.ini. This opera file contains all your Opera tweaks. You can copy this file to your desktop and edit it using word. Find where it says maximum number of tabs and change it from 2 up to 9. Then just copy it back to the Opera9 folder and your done.
I have made a cab file to do this and includes many other Opera tweaks. You can copy your original Opera.ini before using this .cab in case you want to go back to your original settings.

have you tryd to soft reset?...at first when i did it..it didnt work i thought it goes back to defualt..but i did soft reset and i opened 7 tabs..if you saved settings and close browser and reopen it will not work
