Recovering a deleted item

Does anyone know how to recover a deleted file? I just deleted a file and actually need it back. I don't see any Recycle Bins or Trash directories anywhere on the phone. thanks.

And then consider using something like Resco Explorer in future that actually provides a recycle bin function when deleting files through that app instead of the standard file explorer.
