Horndoctor, I use both Opera mini and UcWeb. Opera for quick things and email (yahoo) and UCW especially for this site, far superior. Someone else recently posted that UCWeb won't recognize Yahoo. Tried it and they were right. Spent all night configuring settings and Googled to help them to no resolve. Any ideas?

Well, I guess you've tried using both mobile and desktop modes on the browser? Have you tried going to the mobile and desktop versions of the yahoo website? If there is such a thing. I don't know why it would work on one and not another.

Also, it may be because the yahoo website requires Java and I believe UCWeb doesn't use it or have it.

Yes and no, you were right. After going to their website again (remember seeing a new 7.5 Java) downloaded it ( it's for other devices such as Samsung ,Sony/Erricson, and Nokia phones) and can get to yahoo mail on TP2 going thru Java. Not worth it because of leaps and hurdles to get through. Better to have 2 browsers (not for WM . Thank you 4 the nudge. I'll pass it along.

Love UC browser. As far as updatess go, I just periodically go to programs menu>help>check updates and I always have the newest.
