Help! Sprint TP2 sim unlocked on Tmobile - Page 5

I think it just simplely doesn't re-connect the network automaticlly. We need to figure out a way to set the network on automatic, instead of manual. I could not believe people don't complain about this too much and Xda is actually selling this immature product.

i'm determined to help you guys figure this out...i had a problem and email the team 3 weeks ago, never got a response. i had to figure it out on my on, took me 10 hours. that's why i'm trying to offer support, because the elite team isn't.

I flashed MalROM|WM6.5.3/WM6.5 Sense 2.1
Under device info, for radio it has:
1.96.00wu
Could I need a different radio?

Thanks, Dr.8820. for helping with this. As it stands, I feel like me phone is worthless, but I really love this phone and hope to get it working.
It does seem like there should be some kind of reg edit or something to fix this. Like others have said, it seems that when the phone has to switch towers or something it's not reconnecting.
Anyone know where/if some of these configurations are kept in the registry?

I agree with this guy. It is a such a nice phone, and I am willing to keep it. But I have to sell it if I could not get it to work.

When it is online, it works find. If I don't move it, network never drops. I am wondering how people use it out of US? Do they have to set the network to GSM manually?

My girlfriend gave up on using the Sprint TP2 on Tmobile. She just uses the TP2 as a computer to check email or surf the web using WiFi. I'm surprised nobody ever complained about this until recently. The elite team should offer refunds since the SIM unlock doesn't really work as it should.

Does anyone have a working phone on AT&T with these settings?

im using the same settings as posted from southernatheart is. using mightyrom currently w/ the 1.96.00wu radio

I don't understand why nobody complained too much either. I saw some people were having the same issue on that US sim unlock thread on Xda forum. But most of people just say, it works.
