PCD is the distributor for the official TP2 WM6.5 update... not Verizon. It was like this with the XV6800. The update came from UTStar(?)

Make no mistake, this is the real update.

It's the same company. UTStarcom spun off this portion of their business to Personal Communication Devices (PCD) in July 2008.
