The OS treats them separately, just like you can't have both radios active at the same time. If the CDMA side isn't provisioned, I don't see it effecting the GSM side if its on GSM only since all the provisioning data is provided by the SIM.

If your True Geeker, you always want the newest thing. Acquiring a new radio is worth it to me!!

Sometimes the radio brings much better reception and battery consumption.

If anyone who has updated to this rom that has had the issue of dropping form 3g to 1x randomly, can you let us know if the new radio software did the trick?

mine hasnt dropped yet, and iv made a call, sent sms and mms

Maybe it's a placebo effect but this version of 2.1 seems a bit snappier than the custom ones.
