Re: Verizon Win6.5 out!

I'm interested if tethering will be affected by the official updates..

I've had good experience with Sprint customer service and they do have a lot of specific apps to test with the new release so I'm ok with waiting til Feb.

Anyone know what the implications of flashing while being out of the country are? I can't exactly do a *228 and reprogram. I can do the manual program using EPST, but am I gonna run into any other problems? I'm in Italy right now and I'm thinking I can just leave the phone in GSM only for now and do the *228 when I get off the plane next week?

This only applies to people using WU (World Unlocked) radios for the Sprint TP2 (fact) and (I'm guessing) Verizon TP2 users who did not receive unlock codes from Verizon, rather flashed the WU radio.

Now what would be the fun in that? I know, your all about safe rather than sorry, but you have a technical opinion? I don't think there's any connection between the CDMA and GSM side, but it would be nice to have a new radio for better reception while I'm here.
