Elephant007's Sense 2.5 MMS Workaround *Working*

This work around does not work for me. I'm on SSS R-5. I installed and soft reset. When i go to a picture and hit send, or the upload, then mail button, I get the mail picker. When i click picture message, it takes me to another mail picker that does not have the picture mail option. Am I the only one?

This works for me with my Sprint Touch Pro 2 with EnergyROM 2/1 WM 6.5. Sense handles SMS incoming and outgoing no problem. I can create MMS by going into the Outlook SMS/MMS Inbox and creating one, or I can pick a picture from the Album and send by mail. The text of MMS also shows up in the Sense SMS preview tab. It's not perfect, but it's the best workaround I've seen yet.

I switch to the Samsung Moment and no longer using the HTC TP2 because I gave it to my girlfriend so I really don't have a way to test this work around on other roms since she won't let me tweak on it!! HA HA

hey bro, hows that samsung moment working for u? hows the battery life? i hear it isnt so good. Im looking into switching phones also

I'm really liking this for a lot, the battery life is good for me, don't really use it while I'm at work though because I'm working! HA HA

The phone is much more snappier than TP2, the screen although smaller is sharper and brighter the AMOLED give a very sharp picture. Most of the apps I used on the TP2 I have been able to find for the Samsung Moment and they're free. I even have my home screen set up with a flip clock/weather widget (weather isn't animated though)
Over all I'm very pleased with this phone and am glad I switched.
aHome is probably an app you'd want to purchase though, this will allow you to make 7 or more workspace screens like the HTC Hero.
it's worth a shot, can always return in 30 days if you don't like. The only reason I went with this phone is because of the slide out qwerty keyboard... once you go slide out you'll never go back!

Just know that I really really like my HTC Touch Pro 2 and just because I switched doesn't mean I wouldn't recommend the phone, I just like the Samsung Moment better

im on sss r5 also and it works for me, try following the steps exactly how they are laid out

I'm using NRG Leo ROM 23529 (7Feb10) and it doesn't work. The MMS appears to send, but the other person never gets the picture.

Does not work for me either! I am on R-8.5 and This simply does not work. I wish someone can erase all the different ways that suggests to make MMS work which they don't and PUT 1 SIMPLE AND CORRECT WAY OF GETTING THIS TO WORK ONCE AND FOR ALL.
I have tried different ways and NOTHING ! I going to go crazy !!
Can anyone help me PLEASE

could it be my phone because this didn't work for me either. i have tried many, many times and cabs to get my MMS to work. all to no avail. what do you think??

i tried all the cabs posted here and other places. still cant get mms workin on ne of the sense 2.5 roms.followed all the ways posted to do it and it says sent but nothin. and when i receive i get blank page.
