Re: Dialing number from a web page
When I use Opera Mobile on my Sprint TP2 as long as the number is underlined and blue it will ask me if I want to dial it. For instance, with google I type in a store or persons name it will usually have the number in blue and underlined, I click on it and my phone asks if I want to call it...I'm not sure if there is a program that will do it on other websites...I'll look around though.

Re: Dialing number from a web page
Right.. I can do that from pages like google, but not many others.
As an example, go to this page - online.citibank.com/US/JRS/portal/contactus.do I'd like those numbers to be dialable... |

Re: Dialing number from a web page
If the number is just text on a webpage (i.e. NOT a blue hyperlink), the internet browser doesn't recognize that it's a number and, therefore, your phone doesn't know how to dial it. It's just a computer, after all... It doesn't know how to read and interpret a phone number
Copy and paste is your only option in this case |

Re: Dialing number from a web page
Yeah I don't know of any program out there that will do anything to help you...Best thing to do is copy and paste those numbers and save them in your contacts...that way all you have to do is go and dial the number from there, not the web.
